About

I have a passion for finding patterns in data, for discovering structure and the underlying mechanisms. What motivates me is the chance to contribute to society’s great challenges. For example, sustainability and the efficient use of our limited resources are topics I’m genuinely interested in, both personally and professionally.

I have obtained my PhD at Utrecht University in the department of Information and Computing Sciences in collaboration with Noldus Information Technology. I hold a BSc degree in Computer Engineering (Hochschule Bremen, Germany), a BEng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (London South Bank University, UK) and a MSc in Computer Science (Technische Universität Berlin, Germany).
